Tool or weapon? New research throws light on stone artifacts' use as ancient projectiles

(Indiana University) IU Bloomington professor Geoffrey Bingham and colleagues in the United Kingdom and United States contend that the stones served not as tools by as weapons for defense and hunting. The research appears in the journal Scientific Reports.
