T-cells lacking HDAC11 enzyme perform more effectively in destroying cancer cells

(George Washington University) A team of researchers at the GW Cancer Center has identified a role for the HDAC11 enzyme in the regulation of T-cell function. The team found that HDAC11 should be treated as an immunotherapeutic target.
