(Pew Research Center) Majorities of Americans say the federal government is doing too little to protect key aspects of the environment, according to a new study released today by Pew Research Center. In a national survey of 2,541 US adults, 69 percent of Americans say the federal government isn't doing enough to protect water quality of lakes, rivers and streams and 64 percent say the same about air quality. Two-thirds (67 percent) say the government is doing too little to reduce the effects of climate change.
