Having poor vision can raise risk for falls among older adults

(American Geriatrics Society) A research team, examining information from the National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS) and publishing their study in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, provided up-to-date information on the frequency of falls and learned more about the fear of falling and how it might limit activity among older adults who have vision impairments.
