Dartmouth researchers receive large NIH grant for cooperative lung cancer research

(Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center) A significant, five-year, $12.1 million U19 Grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has been awarded to a collaboration of research teams co-led by Dartmouth's Christopher Amos, Ph.D., to study lung cancer risk, improve precision and efficiency of screening, and ultimately reduce lung cancer mortality.
