Investigator at CHLA to study bone loss associated with cerebral palsy

(Children's Hospital Los Angeles) Physical activity is required for mechanical loading that allows the muscles to exert stress on the bones and cause increased bone development. This study will follow ambulatory individuals with CP, who often have low bone mass, to determine critical periods of bone deposition and loss with the goal of enhancing quality of life.
