Public-private partnership to save the О̄hi'a tree, the cornerstone tree species of Hawai'i

(Conservation X Labs) Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Native Hawaiian Relations, Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge, and National Invasive Species Council (NISC) Secretariat have partnered with Conservation X Labs, a technology and innovation social enterprise, to harness emerging science, technology, and the ingenuity of a global community of solvers to help save the ohia tree in the Hawaiian islands by inviting new solutions for detecting and stopping the threat.
