(Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia - IIT) WeDraw's main goal was to improve the understanding of STEM disciplines by identifying a new multi-sensory teaching method. Teachers usually considered the sight as the prevalent sensory channel to transmit mathematical concepts, leaving out hearing and touch. Monica Gori's group at IIT showed that before 8-10 years of age children have their own preferred sensory channel. The project realized serious games where fractions, angles and 3D trasformations are associated with sounds, vibrations and body movements
