Charting A Path Forward: The Future of Bioethics Advisory Bodies Bioethics Commission Public Meeting

(Burness) At its 26th public meeting on Aug. 31, 2016, the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues will continue the discussion that began at its 25th meeting, reflecting on the past, present, and future impact of national bioethics advisory bodies. Speakers will discuss former US national bioethics advisory bodies and their contributions to health policy, and share perspectives about a similar body abroad, in the UK, and an international bioethics body formed by the United Nations.
