Is divorce seasonal? UW research shows biannual spike in divorce filings

(University of Washington) University of Washington researchers found what is thought to be the first quantitative evidence of a season, biannual pattern for divorce. They analyzed filings in Washington state over a 14-year period and found that they consistently peaked in March and August.
