(University of Michigan Health System) The US National Institutes of Health will award an estimated $9 million over the next 5 years to a new statewide center to enhance the understanding and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in Michigan. The Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Core Center (ADCC), launching today, will support researchers and clinicians from the University Research Corridor, comprised of the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and Wayne State University.
