Penn receives $5.4 million gift to create program for Asperger's syndrome research

(University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine) The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is establishing the Asperger's Syndrome Program of Excellence (ASPE) with a $5.4 million gift from an anonymous donor. ASPE aims to significantly improve understanding of the genetic causes of Asperger syndrome in order to energize the international research and clinical community.
