Neurotechnology provides real-time readouts of where rats think they are

(Picower Institute at MIT) An international team of scientists demonstrates a new neurotechnology for reading out neural signals of position in real-time as rats run a maze, or replay it during sleep, with a high degree of accuracy, with more than 1,000 input channels, and the ability to account for the statistical relevance of the readings almost instantly after they are made.
