Researchers awarded $1.78 million grant to study brain-to-gut connection in schizophrenia

(University of Maryland School of Medicine) Researchers at the University of Maryland School of Medicine's Maryland Psychiatric Center and Institute for Genome Sciences , along with researchers at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, were awarded a collaborative five-year $1.78 million grant to study the brain-to-gut connection in schizophrenia.
