(Università di Trento) The study, conducted at the Center for Mind/Brain sciences at the University of Trento, Italy, shows that small involuntary eye movements, independent of any response, can be used to determine whether one has successfully learned. This finding opens new possibilities in understanding the process of learning in populations that are less responsive to external events, such young children, or individuals with certain mental or physical conditions.
