Getting stroke treatments to people earlier to prevent debilitating outcomes

(University of Michigan Health System) Under a five-year, $2.5 million grant from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, a team of University of Michigan researchers and community partners is embarking on a novel project to increase acute stroke treatment rates in the community of Flint, Michigan.
