Scientists discover fossil of dinosaur ancestor with surprising croc-like appearance

(National Science Foundation) Scientists have long wondered what the earliest dinosaur relatives looked like. Most assumed they would resemble miniature dinosaurs, about the size of chickens, and walk on two legs.
