FSU study reports encouraging trend in infant mortality

(Florida State University) Eighteen states are on track to eliminate racial disparities in infant mortality by the year 2050 if current trends hold, according to a newly published paper from researchers at Florida State University's College of Medicine. The study projects more than 4,000 babies a year could be saved by eliminating black-white disparities in those states.
