(Entertainment Industry Foundation) One hundred high school students from 29 states are winners in the second year of PBS LearningMedia's and Stand Up To Cancer's Emperor Science Award program, an initiative designed to encourage high school students to explore careers cancer research and care. Recipients will conduct research in a lab and/or virtually working with an esteemed scientist on a rewarding multi-week cancer research project, will receive a Google Chrome computer and a $1,500 stipend for expenses.
