Switching to a low-glycemic diet may stop age-related eye disease, study suggests

(Tufts University, Health Sciences Campus) Led by researchers at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, a study in mice finds that development of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) could be arrested by switching from a high-glycemic to a low-glycemic diet.
