Study shows transgender students are at significant risk for suicidal thoughts

(Elsevier) Nearly 35 percent of transgender youth in California reported suicidal thoughts in the past year, almost double that of non-transgender youth, reports a study published in the September 2017 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
