(Regenstrief Institute) A new study from Indiana University Center for Aging Research and the Regenstrief Institute compares quality of hospice services provided for patients living at home, in assisted living facility and in nursing homes as perceived by family members. Findings, which reveal subtle but significant differences in perceived quality have potential to help influence priorities for improvement of quality, patient choice of hospice service provider and reimbursement for these services.
