Repeated anesthesia in infancy increases anxiety-linked behavior in nonhuman primates

(Emory Health Sciences) Animals exposed to anesthesia 3x in infancy later displayed increased anxiety-linked behaviors such as scratching, self-touching and self-grooming when under mild stress.
