When did animals leave first footprint on Earth?

(Chinese Academy of Sciences Headquarters) Scientists from China and the United States reported discovering fossil footprints for animal appendages in the Ediacaran Period (about 635-541 million years ago) in China. This is considered the earliest animal fossil footprint record.
