Study in transwomen shows link between hormone therapy and risk of vascular side effects

(Emory Health Sciences) Study involving 4,690 transgender and gender non-conforming persons found link between cross-sex hormone use in transwomen and increase in vascular side effects, such as stroke and venous thromboembolism (VTE).
