(Kessler Foundation) This nTIDE release, the third in a series on employment and the media, features programs based on the power of storytelling. Two programs that promote awareness and advocacy through storytelling are Rooted in Rights in Seattle, Wash., and ReelAbilities, an annual film festival founded in New York City. These creative outlets enable artists, writers, and advocates to engage the larger community in issues of importance to the disability community.
