From witchcraft to 'bloody flux': astrology doctors' 400-year-old case notes transcribed

(University of Cambridge) A new digital edition of 66 volumes of cryptic casebooks written by two notorious Elizabethan astrologer-physicians -- covering angels, pregnancy, demonic possession and more -- is now complete and available online. To mark the new version of the books, researchers have adapted their 500 favourite cases into more accessible language for modern audiences.
