(Society for Academic Emergency Medicine) Gail D'Onofrio, M.D., MS, professor of emergency medicine and founding chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yale School of Medicine, will open the annual meeting of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine on Wednesday, May 16, with a timely and compelling keynote address titled "The Opioid Crisis: Emergency Physicians as Innovators, Policymakers, and Heroes."
