Giving rural Indians what they want increases demand for cookstoves

(Duke University) Adopting common business practices, such as robust supply chains, market analysis and rebates, can increase the adoption of improved cookstoves by as much as 50% in rural India, according to a new study led by Duke University researchers. Electric stoves were very popular, highlighting India's need to continue rural electrification.
