New Penn research examines gun use, injury and fear in domestic violence

(University of Pennsylvania) About 2 percent of domestic-violence incidents involve guns, according to new research from Susan B. Sorenson of the University of Pennsylvania. Victims of these crimes typically have fewer injuries but more fear. These findings come as part of her latest work, which looks at how frequently guns and other weapon types appear in domestic-violence incidents.
