Spanish-speaking and non-citizen Latino parents half as likely to feel docs are listening

(Drexel University) A study led by faculty from Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health found that the parents of Latino children who only speak Spanish or who are non-citizens feel half as likely to be heard as those who only speak English when communicating with their children's doctors.
