For fewer cast-related ailments in dogs, researchers find taller casts a better fit

(Morris Animal Foundation) Dogs fitted with longer casts for hind-leg injuries or ailments should see fewer pressure sores and soft tissue complications than dogs with shorter casts, said Morris Animal Foundation-funded researchers at Colorado State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
